From what I hear of on band websites that kind of theft has been happening a lot. I know Kill Hannah just had that happen to them, and Sonic Youth as well. It's a shame. I would feel lost if someone stole my keyboards. You get very comfortable with them, they become like another limb.
I'll be looking out for the album regardless  ....
